Sports: Recovery - Rest More to Train Better

A top triathlon suggests rest and recovery are as important as training.  To optimize recovery try incorporating the following recovery techniques into your schedule:

  • Light training days following heavy training days
  • Rest days
  • Sleep
  • Muscle compression / Leg elevation
  • Mental relaxation
